Woodford County Quilt Trail

Information and examples of the quilt trail will be available in Exhibits Barn during the

Fair.  Add your barn, home or business to this exciting tradition.

The Woodford County Quilt Trail (WCQT), recognized by the Kentucky Arts Council,

is a member of the official Kentucky Quilt Trail.  Visit their display to learn more

about how Kentucky is working to preserve our history and heritage, and celebrate a timeless tradition. 

You may find quilt squares hanging on barns; however, they have grown so much

in popularity that businesses, homeowners, and public areas are exhibiting

these colorful quilts.  Quilt squares are prepared by homemakers, youth, senior and

social organization, or anyone that is interested. 

The Quilt Trail committee coordinates the selection of patterns that may represent

a family tradition, history of an area, or simply a personal favorite.
